  Cohérent ? Personnellement je ne trouve pas ça cohérent du tout, ils ont pris les joueurs des derniers wcg sans chercher plus loin. Il se trouve évidemment que certains des WCG ont leur place ici mais c'est pas une méthode pour avoir les meilleurs joueurs.

  i notice the article doesn't really mention WHY i'm not coming. so here's why:
  
  it's because of unpaid prize money that I won in 2008 (masters of paris and the grand final) in total it's 13.000$. i think it's pretty weird that the new owners of ESWC can just announce a new tournament with a huge prize pot ( no one knows where the money is coming from) and completely ignore the people that got screwed back in 2008. this just shows how little respect they have for the players, and how immature esports still is, and it's not something i want to support.
  
  also i think it's really weird that i'm the only one who haven't accepted the invitation. im pretty sure the other winners also got lots of problems with unpaid prize money in the past. by accepting their invite they essentially agree on being screwed again. coz it WILL keep happening. and honestly im just too tired of it to not care anymore.
  
  and for those who think i just care about the money and that i should just go there and enjoy the experience... believe me, it's not just about the money. at WCG 2009 i paid the license and trip almost all by myself just because i wanted the experience. you can imagine how expensive that was. what i want is that i don't want people to get screwed over money, and i want the events to take their responsibility so we can develop esports in the right direction. that's my ultimate wish. sadly the future doesn't look very bright though... and i know this isn't gonna happen anytime soon, but you gotta start somewhere, and i'm starting with myself.
  
  i could also have that attitude of "hey, it's at disneyland, whatever, ill just go and have some fun", but i honestly believe i would be fooling myself if i did that. it just wouldn't feel right.
  
  but anyway, ESWC is not the only event there is. ill keep supporting those events that are doing it right.

  et pour ceux qui pense que je me soucie de l'argent et que je devrais y aller et profiter de l'expérience ... croyez-moi, ce n'est pas seulement une question d'argent. au WCG 2009 i payé la licence et le voyage presque tous par moi-même juste parce que je voulais l'expérience. Vous pouvez imaginer combien chère qui a été. ce que je veux, c'est que je ne veux pas aux gens de se faire défoncer de l'argent, et je veux que les événements à prendre leurs responsabilités afin que nous puissions développer esports dans la bonne direction. C'est mon souhait ultime. malheureusement l'avenir ne semble pas très clair si ... et je sais que ce n'est pas qui va arriver de sitôt, mais tu dois commencer quelque part et je commence par moi-même.
  
  Je pourrais aussi avoir cette attitude de «Hé, c'est à Disneyland, que ce soit, malade juste aller faire quelques" fun, mais je crois sincèrement que je serais moi-même tromper si je le faisais. il ne serait pas juste sentir.
  
  mais de toute façon, ESWC n'est pas le seul événement qui soit. mal continuer à soutenir les événements qui le font bien.

  things have to be said sometimes and i have to say i totally agree with frostbeule.
  ESWC made the wrong choice imo.Paid winners before making another season would have been a better option.
  Atleast to show their attention to make esport smth more serious and respectful...
  Afterward,i can't say if it was doable but we just have the feeling they didn't make their possible to make the thing possible (confusing :P)

  pour esportfrance : naveen est qualifié inde, dec est qualifié slovénie donc pas de hjr, très certainement dido, faut quand même pas dire des conneries, il a ses chances mais le favoris reste vini, d'ou sortez vous cette autre invitation? ya 8 invitations et 8 qualifié par pays, donc il n'y aura pas d'autre invitation à moins qu'ils inventent un tournoi a 17? surtout qu'il suffit juste d'aller sur le site pour voir qu'il y a bien 16 slots...

  @ frost : i understand ur feeling, but it's an important event so i think it's normal than the majority of the players want to go in, in more, at eswc.fr, the winners (in tm at least) got their prizes directly after the grand final, so i think (hope) that the "new" eswc wants to start from zero and i think we can trust in this new edition.

  "start from zero" would be if they took their responsibility, which they aren't it seems. i cant trust them until they do so.

  #11, dido avait été très bon au qualif WCG 2009 si je ne m'abuse. C'est un peu un joueur comme gaLLo, on le voit pas de la saison mais va au plus grand tournoi de l'année!

I understand your opinion, the fact is DIP Solutions (the new owner of ESWC brand) has just bought the ESWC brand and not Game-Services, that means DIP has no obligation to pay the debts of GS. Even if they said they "will try to pay the missing prizes", it was unfornately obvious they won't, they can barely finance the ESWC 2010, so if you add the 200 000 $ prizes, it's just insane.
  
  Now it's true I never lost 13 000$ but i guess its not something good... so that i understand you dont accept to participate ESWC 2010. I dont know if the travel to Disney is paid by the organization but I think you should come despite everything, first to meet again all the people and secondly to feel the experience you talked about in your message. Kimi is right when he said the prizes of ESWC france have been paid right after the end of grand final, it's not the ultimate proof but we can hope the same situation for the World Final.

  non mais tu as ajouter une "invitation encore non annoncée qu'il n'a pas lieu d'être, c'est celle la dont je parle, dans ta liste ya 18 slots actuellement, je ne parlais pas de fb j'avais très bien compris, dans la news il y a bien marqué "Il reste encore une invitation à envoyer pour remplacer la place laissée libre par Frostbeule." sauf qu'elle a déjà été atribuée, il devait y en avoir 7 à la base et finalement il y en a 8, donc tu peux supprimé cette ligne ;)
